Creekside Country Gifts and Produce is owned and operated by Dave and Colleen Russell and is located at 304 Talent Ave in Talent, Oregon. We grow a variety of produce including tomatoes, cucumbers, summer and winter squash, pumpkins, popcorn and more.
We are open typically late spring through October. The farm really began back in 1957. After a two day trip from Southern California on the Santa Fe El Capitan train my mother and I arrived in Iowa for a family reunion. Staying with some friends they soon found that a 9 year old boy could be entertained by teaching him to drive the Ford tractor around the farm field. My love for the farm began when I learned how to operate the clutch pedal. However it would be 20 years before the dream of being a “farmer” would begin to be realized with a move from Southern California to Talent Oregon.
Our little 3 acre farm has been subject to many farming experiences over the years from growing live stock, hay, vegetables, mini dairy, hydroponics and aquaponics and more. A few years ago we began making gifts to sell along with the produce and Creekside Country Gifts was born.
Along with our spring, summer and fall veggies we also sell specialty soaps, fresh flowers along with homemade craft items. We are open from mid spring until mid fall as long as we have produce to harvest. Be sure and stop by and say hi.
